Happy 1st Ever Birthday Sam!

I did this cake for a very special little boy for his 1st Birthday. Of course it was a cowboy theme. I did the boots, badge, and buckle in gumpaste, and the rope in fondant (which I used my new fondant gun for and was not very impressed with it) I thought the cake turned out super cute and his Mommy loved it! Happy Birthday Baby Sam!

Ladybugs and more ladybugs!

I never get tired of doing any variation of this cake. Pink and green...so cute, and ladybugs are adorable no matter what! This is the perfect little girl cake, and I am sure it will be requested again :) Well maybe I should say I hope it will :)

Minnie Mouse in Pink Polka Dots

This cake is a re-creation of the cake I did for my daughter's 4th Birthday - much easier this time around (maybe I am catching onto this cake stuff) I can't take credit for the design, but think it is so incredibly cute!! After all...who doesn't love Minnie??? This time around, my fondant bow actually turned out the way it was supposed to :)

Happy 1st Birthday Chase!

Chuck My Talking truck was definitely a challenge. I cut Chuck & his friends out of fondant - and painted details on them with food coloring. The smash cake was buttercream, so he didn't have to dig through the fondant, and is supposed to be Chuck's "face". The Birthday Boy's Mommy said everyone loved it!

Birthday Present Cake

This cake gave me some more practice doing fondant bow loops. (I still need some more) But I was pleased with the finished product- not your typical 50th Birthday cake...

Welcome Baby Hyatt

My second baby shower cake!!! I was so excited that it was a cowboy/western theme - I needed bandana pattern practice. Baby blue & brown is so cute no matter what. This cake has fondant "rope" around the base and a gumpaste sheriff badge w/ the baby's name on it. This cake was so fun to make - bring on the baby showers - I love them!

Happy Birthday Emery!

I did these cakes for my dear friend Brandi's daughter Emery for her 1st ever birthday. I was so excited to b/c the napkin pattern was so cute! I did the sheet cake with the One-derful pattern, and a scale-down version of the same for the smash cake- Brandi loved it, and has already booked a cake for her older daughter - yay!
