Congratulations Travis & Sarah!!!
I was so excited to do this cake for the shower we hosted for my cousin Travis and his Bride-to-be Sarah. This is a 3 tier white almond sour cream cake with buttercream icing. The daisies were made from gumpaste and I was thrilled to use the new press I received in the mail the week of the shower :) (Nobody gets that but me I know!) The other decorations were marshmallow & chocolate fondant. Sarah and the shower guests loved the cake - Congratulations Sarah & Trav, I love you guys, and I can't wait for the wedding!

Happy Birthday Karra Beth!!!
This is my design for a special 13 year old's birthday party. I absoulutely love polka dots- so this is only the beginning :) I made the topper from gumpaste and unfortuneately it crumbled before I delivered it- so I had to do some last minute touch ups- but I did get a picture before the disaster....I'm sorry Karra Beth - but I think everyone still loved it!!
A Barbie Birthday Times 2!!!
These are two cakes I did for twin girls turning 3- my variation of the popular Barbie Cake. My first attempt at the dome shaped skirt totally flopped- so I adapted the skirt to provide more cake for the party goers and so the cake wouldn't collapse in the middle. I thought the finished product turned out pretty cute- Barbie is beautiful no matter what!!!

Happy Birthday Big Orange Style!!!
This cake was done for a Birthday Party being held during the opening football game for the UT Vols. So of course the Big Orange was the theme of the party. The small Ts were made from Royal Icing and the T topper was gumpaste. My biggest challenge was icing a chocolate cake with white icing...definitely a test of my skills - but the end result was a victory, as was the outcame for the Vols against Western Kentucky!!!
Happy Birthday Chandler!!
Chandler's Mother requested a birthday cake modeled after her MHS Senior Girls T-shirt. The "Aloha" flower was made from Gumpaste as well as the straps on the flip-flops and lettering. The remaining flowers and flip-flop soles were fondant, and the cake was iced in buttercream. Happy 18th Chandler!!!
